About me

Dr. Byron Brown decided that he wanted to pursue a career in medicine while completing his undergraduate studies at Winthrop University. “In the time between university and medical school I worked as a surgical assistant to Dr. McCardle, a general surgeon, to determine if I wanted to go into a surgical specialty,” he says. He discovered that he had a talent for surgery, which he explored further upon making the choice to become an obstetrician and gynecologist.
